Designed by Julie and inspired by the mythical unicorn, this is a beautiful Fairy or Wizard Staff with a spiral selenite crystal on the tip. The staff in the picture is the one you will receive. It is unique.

The most amazing thing about this staff is that it lights up! Two ways! It is 64 3/4" tall (about 5 and 1/2 feet) and 4" at the widest. It is made of molded and shaped PVC with a twisty shaft. The designs are done in hot ethylene-vinyl acetate, followed by a multiple step painting process with 5 colors that twist around the length of the staff. A dusting of glitter and highlights of gold and silver add a magical shimmer! It is finished with a poly sealer. The bottom is fitted with a rubber tip.

This staff has two lights!

All the batteries are replaceable. Instructions are included, and can be seen on our website. (IvysWandsAndWhimsies.com)

Light #1 - This is the main light. It is an LED flashlight that sits in the center of the shaft and illuminates the crystal from below with a bright white light. This white light shows off the natural color of the crystal. This light is lighted by sticking your pinky finger (or eraser end of a pencil) in the small hole on the side of the staff near the base of the crystal and pushing up on the flashlight button inside.

Light #2 - This secondary light is a multicolor RGB (it stands for Red, Green, Blue) LED which transitions through all the colors. The RGB LED is activated by gently turning the knob at the head of the staff. Turning the threaded knob to the right (clockwise) turns the light on; turning the knob to the left (counter-clockwise) turns the light off. IMPORTANT: if you continue turning the knob all the way to the left, it will come off—that is how the batteries are changed.

Selenite is named for Selene, Greek goddess of the moon because of its moon-like glow. Some believe that selenite will provide protection, bring mental clarity and help one to access angelic guidance. It is said that selenite exchanged between lovers will bring reconciliation.

SHIPPING INFO: Our Free Shipping option uses USPS Priority Mail and includes $100 insurance. We have had a good experience shipping this way; It normally takes up to 4 days but can take up to 10 days, which is highly unusual. If you are in a time crunch you can choose USPS Priority Express shipping which will be calculated during checkout. In the shopping cart checkout, there will also be an option to choose USPS First Class Mail, which obviously won't work for this large of a package! If you would like us to ship to Canada, please contact us and we will set up a special order based on your address.
