Inspired by Gandalf the Gray, we made this beautiful Wizard Staff with a large quartz crystal on the tip. The quartz has a natural inclusion of green tourmaline. The staff in pictures is the one you will receive. It is unique.

The most amazing thing about this staff is that it lights up! It is 62 1/2" tall (about 5 and 1/2 feet) and 3/14" at the widest. It is made of molded and shaped PVC with a twist in the shaft. The designs are done in hot ethylene-vinyl acetate, followed by a four step painting process making it look like wood. It is finished with a poly sealer. The bottom is fitted with a black rubber tip.

The staff is lighted by sticking your pinky finger (or eraser end of a pencil) in the small hole on the side of the staff near the base of the crystal and pushing up on the flashlight button inside. The batteries are replaceable. Instructions are included, and can be seen here.

Tourmaline is believed to inspire creativity and was used extensively as a talisman by artists and writers from the Renaissance through the Victorian Age. It is thought to encourage love, dissolve disruptive feelings and calm negative emotions.

The combination of tourmaline and quartz makes it a powerful shield-stone that, depending on the desired intent of the wearer, can amplify and return negative energy, like a mirror, or can convert the negative energy into positive energy for the wearer.

We have had a good experience shipping this way; It normally takes up to 4 days but can take up to 10 days, which is highly unusual. If you are in a time crunch you can choose USPS Priority Express shipping which will be calculated during checkout. In the shopping cart checkout, there will also be an option to choose USPS First Class Mail, which obviously won't work for this large of a package! If you would like us to ship to Canada, please contact us and we will set up a special order based on your address.
