This beautiful Wizard Staff features a cast and polished (by us) 3" resin ball in green.

The most amazing thing about this staff is that it lights up! It is 63 1/2" tall and 3 3/4" at the widest. It is made of molded and shaped PVC. The shaft has a twisty bend and is about 1 1/4" in diameter. (It fits nicely in your hand!) The designs are done in hot ethylene-vinyl acetate, followed by a four step painting process making it look like a medium wood. The bottom is fitted with a rubber tip.

This staff has two lights!

All the batteries are replaceable. Instructions are included, and can be seen here.

Light #1 - This is the main light. It is an LED flashlight that sits in the center of the shaft and illuminates the crystal from below with a bright white light. This white light shows off the turquoise color of the skull. This light is lighted by sticking your pinky finger (or eraser end of a pencil) in the small hole on the side of the staff near the base of the crystal and pushing up on the flashlight button inside.

Light #2 - This secondary light is a multicolor RGB (it stands for Red, Green, Blue) LED which transitions through all the colors. The RGB LED is activated by gently turning the knob at the head of the staff. Turning the threaded knob to the right (clockwise) turns the light on; turning the knob to the left (counter-clockwise) turns the light off. IMPORTANT: if you continue turning the knob all the way to the left, it will come off—that is how the batteries are changed.

*NEW* Consider upgrading your color changing RGB LED light for a constant color LED for an extra charge--just choose the color in the drop down box. (Your staff would have Light #1 (white light) and Light #2 in a constant, non-changing, color LED of your choice.) Please look at the full RGB video to get an idea of how the colors show through this crystal.

The lighted staff glows a delicious green and even throws light from its top. This Wizard staff will complete any magical costume and will make a great gift for the Wizard who has everything!

The word orb is from the Latin orbis, meaning world. The ball is a symbol of the cosmos, or of the universe as a harmonious whole. A sphere symbolizes completeness, unity, equality, and acceptance. No point of a sphere is nearer or farther from the center than any other point on the sphere.

SHIPPING INFO: Our Free Shipping option uses USPS Priority Mail and includes $100 insurance. We have had a good experience shipping this way; It normally takes up to 4 days but can take up to 10 days, which is highly unusual. If you are in a time crunch you can choose USPS Priority Express shipping which will be calculated during checkout. In the shopping cart checkout, there will also be an option to choose USPS First Class Mail, which obviously won't work for this large of a package! If you would like us to ship to Canada, please contact us and we will set up a special order based on your address.
