Sea Dragon vs. Kraken!
Cast, by us, in cold cast resin, this watery turquoise blue, sparkling dragon head includes two Montana Yogo sapphire gems set into the dragon's pupils. The dragon is held by the tentacles of the kraken as it rises from the depths! The kraken's eye is featured below the dragon's head!
Yes, that's right...the most amazing thing about this staff is that it lights up! The staff is 66" tall (about 5 and a half feet) and 5 1/4" at the widest. It is made of molded and shaped PVC with a bendy shaft which is about 1 and 1/4" in diameter. (It fits nicely in your hand!) The designs are done in hot ethylene-vinyl acetate, followed by a four step painting process making it look like wood. The kraken tentacles and upper part of the staff are colored in a squid-y orange which blends gradually into the wood color of the shaft. The bottom is fitted with a rubber tip.
The staff is lighted by sticking your pinky finger (or eraser end of a pencil) in the small hole on the side of the staff near the base of the crystal and pushing up on the flashlight button inside. The batteries are replaceable. Instructions are included, and can be seen here.

The glow of this staff is a cool, watery glow, and can easily light up a room or your path in the forest at night! This dragon vs. kraken wizard staff commands attention and would make the perfect gift for the wizard who has everything or for any Dungeon Master!
Dragon symbolism is common in many cultures around the wold, and they are always associated with magic. It is said they provide magical protection and can be spiritual guardians. They are highly intelligent and guide people toward enlightenment. Dragons represent luck and good fortune and can facilitate a harmonious balance between good and evil.
The kraken is the legendary sea monster of Scandinavian folklore and was known to pull sailors to their deaths...
Sapphires have been prized as great gemstones since 800BC. A promoter of good health, the sapphire is believed to bring fulfillment, joy, inner peace and prosperity. It is also said to be protection against sorcery and to banish evil spirits.

SHIPPING INFO: Our Free Shipping option uses USPS Priority Mail and includes $100 insurance. We have had a good experience shipping this way; It normally takes up to 4 days but can take up to 10 days, which is highly unusual. If you are in a time crunch you can choose USPS Priority Express shipping which will be calculated during checkout. In the shopping cart checkout, there will also be an option to choose USPS First Class Mail, which obviously won't work for this large of a package! If you would like us to ship to Canada, please contact us and we will set up a special order based on your address.
