This awesome light up Wizard Staff features a purple skull, hand cast by us, in resin. The main skull is flanked by mini skulls! The staff in the picture is the one you will receive. It is unique.

Yes, that's right...the most amazing thing about this staff is that it lights up! It is 63 1/2" tall (about 5 feet) and 4" at the widest. It is made of molded and shaped PVC with two twists and a pinch in the shaft which is about 1 and 1/4" in diameter. (It fits nicely in your hand!) The designs are done in hot ethylene-vinyl acetate, followed by a four step painting process to make it look like wood and is painted a shiny black with purple highlights and has rune carvings. It is finished with a poly sealer. The bottom is fitted with a rubber tip.

The staff is lighted by sticking your pinky finger (or eraser end of a pencil) in the small hole on the side of the staff near the base of the crystal and pushing up on the flashlight button inside. The batteries are replaceable. Instructions are included, and can be seen here.

The skull is an obvious symbol of human death. It has taken on much meaning throughout many cultures of the world. It is used as a "memento mori;" a reminder of our mortality and that life is transient. It can be used as a talisman to reverse bad luck; a symbol of luck through adversity. But to many ancient cultures, the skull represented "life;" the honoring of humanity in the flesh and the embodiment of consciousness.

SHIPPING INFO: Our Free Shipping option uses USPS Priority Mail and includes $100 insurance. We have had a good experience shipping this way; It normally takes up to 4 days but can take up to 10 days, which is highly unusual. If you are in a time crunch you can choose USPS Priority Express shipping which will be calculated during checkout. In the shopping cart checkout, there will also be an option to choose USPS First Class Mail, which obviously won't work for this large of a package! If you would like us to ship to Canada, please contact us and we will set up a special order based on your address.
