A light up crystal Dragon head Wizard Staff exclusively from Ivy's Wands and Whimsies!

Cast by us in cold cast resin, this clear, sparkling dragon head features two small faceted ruby gems set into the dragon's pupils. There are spikes and eight mini skulls below the dragon's head. The staff in the pictures is the one you will receive. It is unique.

The most amazing thing about this staff is that it lights up! It is 65 1/2" tall (about 5 and 1/2 feet) and 5 1/4" at the widest. It is made of molded and shaped PVC with a twist and pinches in the staff. The designs are done in hot ethylene-vinyl acetate, followed by a four-step painting process in shiny black. It is finished with a poly sealer. The bottom is fitted with a rubber tip.

The staff is lighted by sticking your pinky finger (or eraser end of a pencil) in the small hole on the side of the staff near the base of the crystal and pushing up on the flashlight button inside. The batteries are replaceable. Instructions are included, and can be seen here.

Rubies are said to be protective, “perpetually burning” stones, and have always been symbols of love, charity, and honor. Legend held that rubies, when cast into water, would cause it to boil!

We have had a good experience shipping this way; It normally takes up to 4 days but can take up to 10 days, which is highly unusual. If you are in a time crunch you can choose USPS Priority Express shipping which will be calculated during checkout. In the shopping cart checkout, there will also be an option to choose USPS First Class Mail, which obviously won't work for this large of a package! If you would like us to ship to Canada, please contact us and we will set up a special order based on your address.
