This beautiful Wizard Staff features a cast and polished (by us) 3" resin ball in beautiful yellow. Atop the orb sits a cast resin owl painted to look like carved wood. His eyes glow faint and mystic when the staff is lit.

The most amazing thing about this staff is that it lights up! It is 70" tall and 4 1/2" at the widest. It is made of molded and shaped PVC. The shaft is straight and is about 1 1/4" in diameter. (It fits nicely in your hand!) The designs are done in hot ethylene-vinyl acetate, followed by a four step painting process making it look like dark wood. The bottom is fitted with a rubber tip.

The staff is lighted by sticking your pinky finger (or eraser end of a pencil) in the small hole on the side of the staff under the orb and pushing up on the flashlight button inside. The batteries are replaceable and you can see a video of how to change the batteries by clicking here. 

The lighted orb glows beautiful warm golden yellow and the eyes of the owl glow faintly!

The word orb is from the Latin orbis, meaning world. The ball is a symbol of the cosmos, or of the universe as a harmonious whole. A sphere symbolizes completeness, unity, equality, and acceptance. No point of a sphere is nearer or farther from the center than any other point on the sphere.

SHIPPING INFO: Our Free Shipping option uses USPS Priority Mail and includes $100 insurance. We have had a good experience shipping this way; It normally takes up to 4 days but can take up to 10 days, which is highly unusual. If you are in a time crunch you can choose USPS Priority Express shipping which will be calculated during checkout. In the shopping cart checkout, there will also be an option to choose USPS First Class Mail, which obviously won't work for this large of a package! If you would like us to ship to Canada, please contact us and we will set up a special order based on your address.
