Handmade copper enamel necklace in the shape of an adorable owl! The owl measures 1 1/4" x 5/8". The pendant, including the bail, is 2 3/8" long.

This whimsical owl is brown with orange, black, and pink floral millefiori eyes and pink accents, topped off with a swirled pink glass bead on the hand-twisted copper wire bail. The back is fired in speckled black.

My copper enamel pendants are made by firing powdered glass onto an 18-gauge copper shape in a 1450-degree kiln! Some pieces can be fired up to five times to reach the desired effects and colors.

The pendant comes on a length of silky black cord finished in handmade copper wire ends and a lobster claw clasp. Please specify a length for your necklace cord in the text box. Lengths can be from 16" to 36".

Vitreous enamel has been around since ancient times. I was taught how to enamel on copper by my mom, who learned it from her father...I guess you could say it's a family tradition!
