Each sealed vial contains pixie dust freely given by the free range Pixies in Pixie Hovit (their word for village). Each pendant serves as a symbol of friendship between magical creatures and humans in an effort to instill the protection of magical species and peace and harmony throughout the natural world!

Each pendant bottle is no more than 2cm tall including the cork top and approximately 1cm in diameter. The pendants are individually finished by hand with a copper eye loop and copper wrap with a swirl. Most have tiny beads, too. The necklace cords are made from corresponding color ribbon and wax cord in an adjustable 18″ – 20″length with a lobster clasp.

Green Pixie Dust

Green Pixie Dust – Earth

Green Earth Pixie Dust represents physical, solid, material objects connected to the earth, like stones, minerals and plants. It is associated with confidence, grounding, stubbornness, stability, physicality, tradition and gravity. Pixies who have mastered their connection to the earth are filled with a desire to have things remain as they are. They are resistant to whims, preferring slow growth over rapid change.

Lilac Pixie Dust – Air

The element Air represents air, smoke, wind, breath and things that grow and expand to enjoy freedom of movement. This element is associated with open-mindedness, care free feelings, benevolence, compassion and wisdom. Air is the element which magnifies thought and communication and makes clear that which may not be visible. The Air element can unblock paths and pave the way for new beginnings.

Orange Pixie Dust – Fire

The element of fire represents energetic, forceful moving things. The ability to make and control fire is what sets humans apart from animals. The Fire element is associated with heat, passion, drive, motivation, desire, intention and an outgoing spirit. It can be associated with destruction and over indulgence but mostly It is a symbol of creation and innovation. Fire is also believed to have the ability to destroy dark magic.

Blue Pixie Dust – Water

The Water element represents fluid, flowing, formless liquids, including water, and blood. Water is the most plentiful and basic element on earth, covering over 70% of the earth’s surface. Water is truly magic as it is a part of all four states of matter; liquid (water), solid (ice), gas (steam) and plasma (blood). It is associated with adaptation and change, cleansing, forgiveness, flexibility, and magnetism.

Purple Pixie Dust – Aether

The fifth element, Aether, represents those things beyond our everyday experience, particularly those things composed of pure energy. It represents spirit, thought, and creative energy. It represents our ability to think and communicate, as well as  innovate. It can also be associated with power, artistry, spontaneity, and inventiveness. One can invoke the power of the Aether to connect to the quintessential creative energy of the world.

While not technically considered an element, the sun is the most important source of energy for life on our planet and is at the center of our solar system. For that reason above all, it is a symbol of light, heat, fertility and life. Because of its power and prominence, it can also be a destructive power. The sun is associated with healing, glory,truth, purpose, understanding, clarity and wisdom.

Silver Pixie Dust – Moon

Also not technically considered an element, the  moon is the second brightest regularly visible celestial body in the Earth sky. The moon represents time, dreams, curiosity, mystery, the afterlife, and love. It is considered a symbol of perfect beauty. Associated with glimpses into the future, madness, transition, perception, receptiveness, intuition, and purity, the moon has the power to influence the ocean tides on Earth.
